Birkenhead class Light Cruisers
consisted of HMS Birkenhead and HMS Chester. These cruisers were initially
built for the Greek Government under and were to be called Antinavarhos
Kontouriotis and Lambros Katsonis. But after the launch of the first
cruiser in 1915, The Royal Navy took over the ships as the war has
not been won as hoped by this time.
