Photographs and history of the Virginia Class Battleship of the United States Navy, BB15 USS Georgia, from its launch in 1904 until its scrapping in 1923.

BB15 USS Georgia,, ordered under the naval act of 1899, and built at Bath iron Works, and laid down 31st August 1901, launched 11 October 1904, and completed 24th September 1906, finally scrapped in 1923.

Displacement: 14,948 tons, and 16,098 tons full load.  Speed: 19 Knots, Crew 812.     Armament: Four 12 inch  Guns (2 x 2 ) Eight 8 inch Guns, twelve 6 inch guns Twelve  3 inch guns , Twelve  3 pounder, and Four 21 inch Torpedo Tubes all submerged.   
BB15   USS Georgia 11th October 1904 Sold for scrap in 1923.
